This video use cognitive as learning theory. Cognitive learning can be defined as the process by which one acquires knowledge and skill in the cognitive process. Cognitive process include reasoning, abstract thinking, decision making, problem solving and many more. In cognitive learning, the individual learns by watching, reading or experiencing some stimuli This information is processed by the brain and later recalled. The animations in the video show how the information are being deliver to the learner. They explained by giving analogy and illustrated image so that learner can understand better. The concept human bones and skeleton are discussed further in this video.
Advantages
1. The simulation used to show the skeletal system is interesting and easy to understand.
2. The lesson is related to concept in daily life.
3. The example given are illustrated for better understanding.
4. They are using simple English.
5. The character are cute and can attract the students.
The video is quite long which is 7 minutes. The long video can make students feel bored and don't want to finish watching the video. It should be divided to several segment to avoid students feel bored.
